Genesis

I’ve wanted to start this blog for a long time. Not because the Internet needs another Catholic voice, but because I hope to reach and meet people who believe that their skills, who they are, and what they've become, are not just for work but for a higher calling. A mission.

Why

I’m a Filipino cradle Catholic, a software engineer, and a husband (hopefully a father soon too, but in God's time) living in Melbourne. I'm someone who’s spent my whole life serving God and His people. Near the end of last year, I felt a calling to start building software for God. It's another form of serving, just as I always have been doing, but I'm more aligned. Along the way, I’ve realised something simple but life‑changing:

Technology can be a form of prayer when it’s built with love, for love, and to glorify God.

This blog is simply my attempt to share that journey with you. To explore how faith and technology intersect, and hopefully spark something in you too, regardless of whether you're Catholic or not.

What

I’m keeping things chill and honest. Nothing polished. Nothing performative. Just real thoughts about faith and tech; two of the most important things in my life (besides my wife, family and friends). All while building software that combines these two the best. And maybe some stuff about my life here in Melbourne as well (just settled here recently).

While I consider this my space, I hope this little corner of the Internet can feel like home for you too.

A Small Prayer to Begin

Lord Jesus,
Be with me as I begin this work.
Steady my mind, guide my words,
and bless all who will be touched by what I create today.
Make my efforts reflect Your goodness and truth.
Amen.

P.S. Feel free to use the prayer when you start your work day too. :)
